Bingjie ZHANG
&
bingarchitect
In recent years, Bing has been continuously journeying through mountains and islands, seeking dwelling wisdom and construction memories rooted in local cultures. Through a series of experimental constructions and art installations, we collect, refine, and reinterpret these unique local materials and flavors. We aim to establish a new order between materials, climate, craftsmanship, and people—allowing space to return to its wildness, spirituality, and organic vitality. Recent architecture projects and art installations grows from local culture and site conditions, creating natural and organic spatial experiences.
Bingarchitect, founded in 2021, is a design and art studio that uses architecture as a medium to explore cultural diversity. We are drawn to the narratives behind space, the continuity of time embedded in materials, and the profound adhesion between architecture, nature, culture, and the individual.
